Fatal Crash on US 75 Near Royal Ln Leaves One Dead in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX (July 15, 2026) – One man died and two other people were injured following a crash involving a disabled vehicle Sunday morning, July 12, on US 75 in Dallas, according to authorities.

Officials said the collision occurred after a disabled vehicle parked on the shoulder was struck by another vehicle. The impact pinned a man beneath the wreckage and pushed both vehicles into the northbound lanes, where traffic was blocked for several hours. 

The man, believed to be the driver of the disabled vehicle, died at the scene. A passenger from the disabled vehicle and the driver of the second vehicle were transported to a hospital, with the second driver reported to be in critical condition.

Authorities have not released the identities of those involved. 

The crash remains under investigation.
