Grand Prairie, TX (July 6, 2026) – A woman was killed on Sunday morning, July 5, after being struck by a vehicle on Belt Line Road in Grand Prairie, according to the Grand Prairie Police Department. 

Investigators said a northbound Maserati failed to negotiate a curve before striking the woman, who was walking nearby. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities reported that the driver was not injured and has been cooperating with the investigation.

Police stated they do not believe impairment was a factor in the crash, although distracted driving has not been ruled out. No additional details have been released.
